Celebrating 16 Years Serving Our Community!

I did my research in the area when my daughter came of age to see a dentist and landed on Healthy Smiles. 5 years later and I am still SO happy with my decision! This is the only dentist my daughters have ever been to because we are so happy with this practice. The dentist can be scary, but Healthy Smiles does what they can to make it less so for my girls. There is a welcoming, fun lobby. Kind employees. A TV screen to watch over the procedure chair. They say everything they are doing out loud to keep your kiddos informed. And a couple of fun little prizes for the brave patient when it is done. I 100% recommend this dentist for your kids.
My kids love to come to the dentist here! They are so kind to the kids and gentle. The whole office from the lobby, to brushing and xrays they make it extra fun and special for all ages! My son left yesterday saying how fun it was there and couldn’t wait to go to school and tell his teacher and friends about his visit. Thank you for always checking on our kiddos teeth and making sure they want to keep up with the dentist with all the take home goodies!
We had a wonderful experience here for my daughter's cleaning and tooth extraction. The team was extremely patient and explained the process very clearly. They walked us through each and every step and were very gentle with the tooth extraction. This facility is highly recommended.
Dr Davis and her staff give excellent dental care. My children have been patients for 5 years. We switched from a different dentist that seemed to push unnecessary expensive treatments. Dr Davis is more conservative and presents all treatment options with fair pricing .
Here’s a polished version you can post directly to Google Reviews: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience with this office! From the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist, everyone was stellar. It was my 1-year-old’s very first appointment, and they handled it beautifully. My 5-year-old was the calmest and least anxious I’ve ever seen at the dentist—which says so much about how well they balance education, treatment, and respect for kids’ autonomy. Dr. Davis and Saira were especially Grade A. Thank you for making dental care such a positive and empowering experience for both of my children!

Halloween candy tips from your pediatric dentist can save your child's smileHalloween is a fun and exciting time for kids, but for parents, it can also raise concerns about dental health. With buckets of candy coming home after trick-or-treating, parents often wonder how to balance festive fun with healthy teeth.

These Halloween candy tips from your pediatric dentist will help keep your child’s smile strong while still letting them enjoy the holiday.

Choose Candy Wisely

Not all sweets are equal when it comes to dental health. Sticky or chewy candies, like taffy and gummy bears, cling to teeth longer, creating more opportunities for cavities.

Hard candies can also pose risks, as they dissolve slowly and coat teeth in sugar. If your child craves something sweet, chocolate is often a better option; it washes away more easily and doesn’t stick around as long.

Timing Matters

One of the best Halloween dental tips for kids in Frisco, TX, is to limit candy to mealtimes. When eaten with a meal, saliva production helps wash away sugar and neutralize acids.

Grazing on candy throughout the day exposes teeth to sugar for longer periods, increasing the risk of decay. Setting candy “treat times” can give kids boundaries while still letting them enjoy their favorites.

Practice Good Oral Hygiene

Halloween is the perfect time to reinforce brushing and flossing routines. Encourage children to brush at least twice a day, especially after enjoying sweets, and remind them not to rush.

A full two minutes makes a big difference. Flossing is equally important, as it removes sticky particles that brushing can miss.

Hydration Helps

Water is a simple yet effective tool for preventing cavities in children in Frisco, TX. Drinking water after snacks helps wash away sugar and food particles, reducing the chance of buildup. If your child is old enough, encourage rinsing with water right after candy.

Don’t Forget Dental Visits

Halloween is also a good reminder to stay current with dental checkups. Regular visits give your pediatric dentist the chance to catch problems early and provide personalized guidance on candy consumption and cavity prevention.
